I create and sell various hand-painted calligraphy pieces that make great gifts and adorable home decor! I also offer my skills as services for personal projects such as weddings or murals.

I specialize in lettering (words) and simple graphics. You can find examples of my past work in the photos or on my social media pages! You can provide certain quotes or artwork you would like me to do or I can design something custom.
Actual prices can vary wildly depending on the size of the space and materials I would need to buy, but the starting cost is $150.
I provide all paint and brushes! The only thing I ask you to provide if possible is a ladder ( so I can reach!) and a can of the base color of the wall I will be working on (for touch ups!) I also ask that the wall I will be working on is freshly painted and free of any hangings, nails, or anything else that would interfere with the texture of the wall.
How It Works:
1.) Initial Contact: This is where you will provide me with your information (name, role, etc.) and details about the project such as where it will be, when you would prefer it finished, and any photo examples of your ideas.
2.) Tour The Space: We will schedule a day that I can come see the space for the project in person so I can get an idea of the size and material I am working on. After this I will be able to provide you with an estimated cost for the project. Next, I will provide you with my own sketches of the artwork I plan to do in your space. You can make any changes or add details as needed.
3.) Materials Deposit & Start: Before starting the project I require a Materials deposit which is typically around $100 but can be more depending on the size of the project. After this is paid, we will schedule a start date and the painting begins!
Other Details:
- Estimated turnaround time for murals varies depending on size but it could be anywhere from a week to a few months! Please keep in mind that I am only one person and also have other responsibilities outside of the project! Despite that, I try my best to complete your project in a timely manner!
- Currently, I only except large mural bookings during the school year breaks (summer and Christmas). This is for your benefit so that I am able to work on the project as much as possible and get it finished quicker! Smaller projects that may only take a few days to a week I may accept but it is not guaranteed.
On top of personally hand-painting all of my products, I also ensure that I keep my prices low. Many other businesses like mine up-charge a lot for their products to ensure that they are making a profit. And while that may work best for them, my business is not just about the money. I just love to glorify God with my artwork!

First off, my name is Sydney Davis and I started HappyLettering Co. in May of 2020.
As most of you may recall, this was during the height of the coronavirus outbreak! My school was closed, my church was closed and all of my summer plans were cancelled. I am the kind of person that thrives best when they’re busy, so I could not just sit around my house and do nothing! I had been doing calligraphy or hand-lettering for a few years and had gotten fairly good at it.
My family and friends had been telling me that I should start a business, but I had never actually put much thought into it. Of course, during quarantine I had plenty of time to think and came to the conclusion that it would actually be a great idea as it would keep me busy, help me improve my hand-lettering skills, and I can make some money while doing it!
A month or so later, I officially launched my business through Facebook, and it has been growing ever since!
